Store Manager

HAPPY DAVE’S Store Manager, your key role is to oversee and manage the daily operations of a high volume, customer focused operation, ensuring efficient and effective communication to lead the staff and provide excellent service to customers. The role involves supervising staff, inventory management, maintaining the store assets, managing customer relations, and ensuring a high level of cleanliness and safety standards. You will be a part of our high energy team providing our customers with a Fun and Fast experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Meet or exceed daily, monthly and annual Key Performance Indicators by analyzing key business metrics, developing action plans, communicating ways to drive the business and managing the overall performance of the store.
  • Responsible for maximizing store merchandise and gasoline sales to achieve the budgeted store expense.
  • Lead, develop, and enhance the customer experience in your store by fostering and maintaining a friendly positive attitude in all employees and drive store sales with hands on style leadership.
  • Uphold the highest standards in store cleanliness and serviceability, execute site layouts, displays, stocking, plan-o-grams and retail processes to create an environment for an outstanding customer experience.
  • Demonstrate leadership, foster teamwork, and shows initiative and excitement for all store promotions and merchandising standards to facilitate sales growth.
  • Enhance and maintain good positive communication with customers, supervisors, your team of employees, and vendors to enhance the performance and profitability of your store’s team and to continue to grow.
  • Identify and resolve site issues and problems in a timely and positive manner.
  • Oversee the efficient management of stock levels, ordering and replenishment processes, accurate tracking of inventory movements, and inventory loss prevention while minimizing costs and ensuring adequate stock availability.
  • Responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining direct reports, ensuring their readiness for increased responsibilities, scheduling, promoting, and performance management.
  • Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and/or other administrative duties. 
  • Complies with company standards and procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service. You’ll have a direct influence on the customers’ impressions of the brand.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years of experience in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Attention to detail and pride in your work.
  • Must be able to perform principal duties of the job.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional business or management education is a plus.
  • Physical condition necessary to be on his/her feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must have a Driver’s License and personal transportation for getting to the assigned store.
  • Basic management and supervisory skills required and be able to perform principal duties of the job.
  • The ability to follow directions and meet all the company policies and procedures associated with the efficient operation of the assigned store.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, and/or nighttime store shifts.
  • Must possess good oral communication skills.

  • Physical condition necessary to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, ability to be on his/her feet for extended periods of time, ability to work in extreme, intermittent temperatures for extended periods of time. i.e. coolers, outside, kitchens, etc…
  • Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, grasp and move objects w/ hands, requiring eye-hand coordination during shift.
